After 40 years in practice, Dr. Jim Shebuski is retiring. His final day in the office at Innovative Health will be September 25, 2026.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jim has quietly dedicated himself to helping others, building lasting relationships with his patients, and providing compassionate chiropractic care to generations of families. Since beginning practice in 1986, he has had the privilege of caring for thousands of patients, and he is deeply grateful for the trust they have placed in him over the years.
For Dr. Jim, chiropractic has always been about the people. Many of the patients he sees today have been with him for years—or even decades—and those relationships have been one of the most rewarding parts of his career.
Looking Forward to Retirement
After four decades of caring for others, retirement will give Dr. Jim a little more time for some of his favorite things: hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
While he is looking forward to this next chapter, he will certainly miss the patients and relationships that have made his career so rewarding. We know his patients will miss seeing him around the clinic, too.
Continuing Your Care at Innovative Health
For Dr. Jim’s patients, his retirement doesn’t mean having to start over somewhere new.
Innovative Health continues to have a team of chiropractors on staff, each with different backgrounds, areas of interest, and treatment approaches.
Dr. Kyle Canales has also recently joined the Innovative Health team, giving our patients another provider option as we prepare for Dr. Jim’s retirement.
Over the coming weeks, our staff will help Dr. Jim’s patients transition to the Innovative Health doctor who is the best fit for their individual needs and preferences. Because your records and history remain right here at the clinic, our goal is to make that transition as comfortable and seamless as possible.
Dr. Jim leaves behind a remarkable 40-year career and countless patients whose lives he has touched along the way. We are grateful for everything he has contributed to his patients, our clinic, and the Central Wisconsin community.
Please join all of us at Innovative Health in wishing Dr. Jim a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement!
