Our History
1987
Innovative Health began in 1987 as Draeger Chiropractic, founded by Dr. Curt Draeger and his wife Dr. Reva Draeger. Working out of a small clinic on Business Hwy 51, they quickly built a loyal patient base drawn to their dedication, skill, and results-driven care.
1996
By 1996, the clinic had outgrown its original space. A new clinic was opened at 2114 Schofield Avenue (still our home today) designed to better serve the growing needs of our patients.
2004
In 2004, Dr. Draeger introduced laser therapy to the clinic, making us one of the first providers in Wisconsin to offer this advanced, non-invasive treatment.
2005
The outcomes that laser therapy provided for our patients were so transformative that we rebranded as Draeger Chiropractic and Laser Center in 2005.
2010
In 2010, Dr. Kevin Ritzenthaler purchased the clinic and expanded our services to include Functional Medicine.
As our offerings evolved, so did our team — growing to four full-time chiropractors.
2017
To reflect the diversity and innovation of our care, the clinic rebranded once more as Innovative Health in 2017.
2025
In 2025, Dr. Cody Hansen purchased the clinic, enabling Dr. Ritzenthaler to focus on meeting the growing demand for Functional Medicine services.
