Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Cody Hansen, D.C.

My first visit to a chiropractor came after I was hurt during a high school football game. The sideline physical therapist told me that I’d be out for 6-8 weeks. My sister suggested that I go and see her chiropractor, and I was back on the field in 2 weeks’ time. It was that chiropractor who actually suggested that I consider becoming a chiropractor myself.

After looking more into chiropractic and where I thought our healthcare system would be headed, I knew this was the right profession for me. I believe wholeheartedly in the hands-on approach to finding and correcting underlying issues, instead of simply covering up symptoms.

Choosing Innovative Health

During my clinical experiences, I saw chiropractic clinics at both ends of the spectrum: ranging from high-volume clinics to smaller practices where doctors treated just a few patients a day.  Innovative Health was the perfect mix of the two: a big-clinic setting in which each patient got a unique and personal experience. I was likewise impressed with the progressive nature of this clinic, offering both high intensity laser therapy and functional medicine.

Chiropractic for Sports Injuries

I was active in sports in high school, and now, I spend much of my free time working out. So, using chiropractic to treat sports-related injuries, is something that is especially appealing to me. That includes seeing patients who have an active lifestyle, ranging from weight lifters and cross fitters to competitive athletes at all levels.

Healthier Lifestyle Through Exercise and Nutrition

I also like to help people who might not consider themselves athletes, but are ready to live a healthier lifestyle. Often, people are so bombarded with articles and posts about how to be healthier, that it’s too overwhelming to know where to start. And that’s where I can come in. Together, we can discuss where you are today, where you want to be, and then develop a specific nutrition and exercise plan to achieve your goals.

I grew up in North Prairie, Wisconsin, a small town about 25 miles southwest of Milwaukee. In my spare time, I enjoy working out and spending time with my family and friends. I also have a love for hunting, having been a duck and deer hunter since I was a kid.
