Spinal Decompression

Spinal Decompression is a safe, non-surgical, FDA-cleared option to treat disc injuries in the back and neck by relieving pressure that is built up on the nerves and discs.

Spinal Decompression can be effective for:

Low back pain
Head and neck pain
Headaches, migraines
Pinched nerves
Radiating leg and arm pain
Spinal Stenosis

Sciatica
Bulging discs
Herniated discs
Degenerated discs, degenerative disc disease
Facet Syndrome

For some, spinal decompression is a viable alternative to spinal surgery. It can also be effective for those who have had previous back surgeries.

How Spinal Decompression works:

Very precise cycles of gentle stretching and partial relaxation are administered while the patient relaxes on a special bed. This takes pressure off of the spinal discs and nerves to relieve pain. It also creates negative pressure in the spinal column that can draw bulging and herniated discs back into place. This will also enable the discs to get the proper amount of water, oxygen, and other nutrients they need to help them heal.

The feeling is described by most as a “gentle pull”. Many patients find the sessions to be very relaxing and some people even fall asleep during their treatments. Treatments are customized to individual needs and conditions. A single session lasts from 20-45 minutes, with multiple sessions occurring over 4-12 weeks.

Different patients will benefit from different of treatment options. The doctor will determine the best combination of treatments for each individual patient.
